UCSC Holi 2018

Date: April 13th, 2018

Time: 2pm - 6 pm

Place: OPERS EAST FIELD

Holi, known as the Festival of Colors or as the Festival of love, is an ancient Hindu religious festival. It became popular with non-Hindus groups around the world and has brought together different communities regardless of their religious and ethnic background. The Holi festival has brought a positive environment at UCSC during the spring where we can see students celebrating love through colors. Students are seen playfully throwing colored powder up in the air and on other students regardless of their race and ethnicity. The festival has a significance of bringing people together through laughter, bridging the social gap between students on campus.

The UCSC Student Union Assembly, Indian Student Association, Tau Kappa Epsilon, and the Dean of Students Office is holding the fifth annual Holi Festival Friday, April 13th from 2pm - 6pm at OPERS East Field. Come out and celebrate the day colors!
