The Redwood Free Market, formerly known as the Slug Support Food Pantry supports the success of all students. We believe that access to food is a human right, and are dedicated to destigmatizing food insecurity. Through a holistic approach, we prioritize the needs of students above all else. We are a safe haven that promotes liberation and well-being for all students.

Location: Rachel Carson College Cafe (College Eight Cafe)

Hours: Mondays (2-5PM), Tuesdays to Thursdays (9AM-1PM, 2-5PM Grad Students), Fridays (9AM-12PM)

• Features produce, dry goods, and CalFresh information
• We are a choice-based no limits pantry so take what you need with your Student ID! Masks and social distancing are required.

  • Bring your own bag and arrive during the hours shown above
  • Scan the QR Code located at the entrance to sign in
  • Shop for your items
  • Bag your items outside and leave your basket for us to sanitize
